You used to be able to access the Physician's information i.e. phone and npi and address directly from the patient's chart by clicking on the Doctor. No you have to navigate to the chart, find the physician, navigate to admin, physician manager, and click on the physician there.
You also used to be able to type in the zip code and the city and state would automatically generate.
We suggest the return of administrative shortcuts such as these
It would be extremely helpful to be able to view physician's NPI from a patient info page instead of having to toggle back to admin, then physician list, then back to the patient info page.
In the old version you could edit physician details from the patient info and see the npi that way.
My office staff used to be able to load physicians and see their contact info. I needed to make them an admin in order to do their jobs, but that makes me nervous to give so many people that level of access.
Hi there,
In the old fusion, when looking at an individual patient's information, we were able to click on their Physician and see his/her details. This is a function we use daily. The new fusion does not have that feature anymore. We are only able to see the Physician's name.
Thanks,
Maddie
On the old Fusion, when adding a referring physician into a patient chart, you were able to add a completely new physician (who is not in your list of physicians) right from the same screen. Now, you have to have the admin tab in order to add a new physician. Please update this back to the old way. My referral coordinator/front desk staff input all patient information and do not have access to the admin tab. If they don't have access to this, then it will create more work for my managers to add all the new physicians.
when adding a physician to the patient record it does not have an add button if the physician is not part of the saved list. Currently the admin is the only one able to make changes and add a physician is this something that we can add access to our biller/scheduler?
There is not an option to add a new doctor in the new version of fusion. You also cannot see the details for the doctor to get the phone number or fax number.
Regarding update:
Please make it so we can add a new MD from Patient Information page again.
Please reinstate the zipcode automatically filling city/state feature in patient page.
When you review Rx Expiration's.....
Once you pull patient up in fusion and click on the physician, edit, you can't view the phone # and fax # for the physician. Can you add this feature?
Is there anyway that when you are in the patient's chart under the therapy tab where it has the referring doctor there can be a link or way to access the doctors information like phone, npi, etc you could do it in the old system
Hello!
In Old Fusion, we could input a referring physician from the patient information screen, if the physician was not already part of our master list. Could we bring back this option? It's cumbersome to navigate to a different screen to add physician information, then navigate back to the patient to add the physician's name to the patient profile.
Could we also add an option to view the physician information from within the patient profile? (Perhaps by clicking the name of the physician?) Often insurance companies need the information of the referring physician's office while I am on the phone with them, and navigating away to the physician list and locating them, obtaining information, then navigating back to the patient profile takes quite a bit of time while the insurance rep is waiting.
Thank you for your continued assistance!
Laura
