Add or differentiate treatment diagnosis codes

Allow me to differentiate between ICD 10 medical diagnosis codes and treatment codes to allow physicians and insurance the ability to better and more easily distinguish between the diagnosis codes instead of guessing which one is which.

In patient charts when we need to add in an "OT diagnosis" we are typically just putting in our treatment diagnosis. However, OT's can not diagnose so is there a way to add an "OT treatment diagnosis" and then rephrase the existing one to say "Medical Diagnosis" ? Thanks!!

Hi, I have a concern about there only being an OT diagnoses section that pre-populates on claims. I would like to have a medical diagnoses and an OT diagnoses section for ethical purposes, as an OT diagnoses on treatment POC is much different than a medical diagnoses.

Request: Please allow for primary and secondary diagnoses in the intake areas of the Fusion chart. Reason: Often in pediatric therapy, we use one diagnosis for billing purposes as the "primary diagnoses" which is also considered the "billing diagnoses". However, in pediatrics, many patients have multiple problems and we need to list secondary contributing diagnoses that are important, but DO NOT go on the claim to insurance. We need to have an option to place other diagnoses in a separate section of the Fusion Chart listed under "secondary diagnoses". We do not want the secondary diagnoses listed with primary diagnoses because we may or may not necessarily submit claims under these diagnoses.

It would be very helpful if in evaluations, there was an option to add in medical diagnoses and a separate area to add in treatment diagnoses. They are very different things, and separate diagnosis boxes would provide clarity for the clients, treating therapists, medical providers, and insurance companies.

diagnosis codes are inefficient, don't give the full picture. [ removed ] Code Q87.89, I would like to add the specific syndrome, Beaulieu-Boycott-Innes Syndrome that applies to this code. Impossible. Also impossible to add a description without a code. This patient has seizures but parent does not have enough information to narrow it down to a code. MD has not yet determined exactly why he has seizures. sure would be nice for my staff to know he has seizures by using fusion. Eventually the MD will code it when they understand why he has them.

Diagnsoses. Allow them to be listed as primary dx for billing and secondary diagnoses documentation purposes. Currently the system implies all diagnosis are primary and this may not be the case.
