Allow me to record the length of the sessions I recommend under the Frequency/Duration section for evaluation-type documents. For example, I may want to indicate that the child is going to be seen 2x/week for 45-minute sessions.
Add a field to the frequency for minutes, this would allow the therapists to note if sessions should be 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 30-60 minutes, 60 minutes, etc. Many of the insurance companies need this information to justify the number of units we are requesting for auth. Currently there is not a field for this necessary information.
Add a field for intensity (number of minutes each treatment session will be) to the eval and then on the patient's profile in the same area as the frequency and duration.
There needs to be a field added to Progress Notes, Evals and Reassessments for intensity (how many minutes) with the frequency and duration that the therapists can fill in how many minutes the appointments will be. All of our Managed Medicaids want to see this information.
Can you please change the frequency/ duration on assessment documents to a number of minutes per week? Right now the only option is visits per week, but each clinic does not have the same minutes in one visit. For example: one clinic has 45 minute sessions so 2x/ week is 90 minutes, while another clinic has 60 minute sessions, so 2x/ week is 120 minutes/ week.
Scripts, Doctor's offices, and Insurance have to know the number of minutes recommended, not how many visits per week the child should receive.
