Show original authorization count

When viewing an authorization, allow me to view the original count of units or visits in addition to what's remaining.

When using visit dates that are authorized, there is no way to back track and see how many visits were originally authorized. Fusion only shows how many visits are left. It would be helpful to show the original approval number. For one patient, it showed 2 visits left, but when I counted the number of visits used, she did not have any authorized visits left. I only knew this because I had uploaded the file from the insurance. Otherwise I would not have been able to see how many actual visits were authorized.

Under the payer, could you update the columns to include the total number of units initially authorized and the balance remaining? Or, can we update the columns ourself?

I second what other commented: tracking total number of authorizations and deduct on each visit. Also, for me, it would be even more important to track number of visits regardless if the patient is on the set schedule or each visit is scheduled as needed.

When entering authorizations we would rather be able to put in the total visits authorized during a specific time period and have Fusion subtract any visits in that time period from the authorization automatically. So authorizations would show up like "10 of 30 visits" (the 10 being how many used during that time period and the 30 is the total from a specific auth). Our previous system tracked this for us and was a huge help and was so much easier to figure out how many visits were actually used on each authorization. We see 65% Tricare patients and they extend authorizations and add visits to the current authorization so we are spending a ton of time trying to calculate visits remaining in auth and how many need to be added when Tricare extends an Auth. So when we get a new authorization we are having to count how many visits have been added and how many have been used during that time frame because the system doesn't calculate that for us.
