Let me choose a time-frame for patient appointment reminders, so that I can set them to go out on a schedule that better matches my cancellation policy or have more flexibility to send them closer to the appointment time.
Please allow for 48 hour, 24 hour and day of appointment reminders with clinic name / address - texted. Being charged for this is outside the norm for an EMR and not appreciated.
We should be able to customize text messages AND have the ability to receive texts (preferably without another upcharge)--especially since you charge for texts.
Fusion is going into capitalistic mode. It insane to find ways to charge for things that used to be free when we signed up. Obviously there are now 167 votes and that is not enough for change. It's been a downhill adventure since ownership changed unfortunately.
Please allow for more than 1 reminder for an appointment. I want at least 48-72 hours AND the day before, and possibly the day of. I typically see patients who have experienced brain injury, and the multiple reminders is really important to help them get to the clinic!
Options to confirm, cancel or reschedule is also a must.
We cannot justify the new cost for text messaging service without the ability to customize the message, customize when they are sent, send additional messages, etc. It would be one thing to be charged $.10 if we had this ability/flexibility, but there is currently NONE. Due to this we will not be using text reminders by Fusion; if other companies can provide this service for a penny or less, Fusion should too. We pay too much money for this EMR for everything to have additional costs. Due to this, we are also looking into other EMRs.
We really need the ability to add additional information to the appointment reminder. Notably a URL we use to check-in when they arrive using their phone.
It would be very beneficial to be able to remind clients what the cancellation policy is. I have seen this in other systems where I receive text reminders for appointments. I truly believe that it does leave an impact on the client to be more attentive to the appointment.
Allow for customizable reminder times. I am mobile and it would be nice to have a reminder text go out a few hours before the appointment and not 24 to remind pts to get home before I get there if they are out and about.
We would like the option to customize text message to meet each families needs. We have MANY families who speak Spanish or another second language only and they are unable to understand the text messages because they are only in English.
