As my web designer is working on creating my website, I have noticed that some EMRs have widgets available that can be embedded into the website for patients to book their appointments straight from there or on the patient portal based on your availability you have set up in the calendar. This would be a helpful addition I feel.
This is an essential service to our families and staff. Families are on the go and when a schedule needs to be changed, the process to do this should be simplified to enhance their experience. In addition, we do not have the staff available for constant back and forth on the phone to balance a schedule between families and therapists.
Please consider adding this feature in order for us to streamline this process as it will benefit both the family and the practice.
