If a therapist calls out the morning of, if we could have the ability to send a text to all patients on morning of so they are able to receive multiple forms of communication about the appointment. Especially if the appointments are cancelled prior to clinic opening.
When a therapist is out of the office, could families get reminders about the cancelled appointment? I've had families forget the appt is cancelled and still go to the clinic!
When a patient's appointment has been moved, please send the contact information that is signed up for appointment reminders a follow up discussing the appointment change.
We are noticing that if we mark the calendar as "Clinic Cancelled" even days in advance, the contact still receives a notification via email and/or text indicating that they have an appointment. It would be preferable and much more appropriate if the appointment is marked cancelled, the notification not go out.
