Show specific documents on the patient portal

Let me choose which specific documents should be visible on the patient portal, rather than having to show all documents of a certain type.

You can now limit documents by service type on the patient portal so you can hide psychotherapy documentation and still share other services. Here is a link to the full release notes. Allow us to limit access to portal information where clients were seen for Mental Health services in the same Fusion case as other modalities.

This would be tremendously helpful and allow us to comply with the 21st Century Cures Act while still utilizing Fusion for multiple disciplines, including psychotherapy.

Lovett Worded this perfectly, Please limit access to psychotherapy notes and evaluations on the Patient portal. Currently, if we enable documentation access, it gives access to documentation for all services. If a client was seen for OT/PT/ST AND Mental health, we are required to give them access to their OT/PT/ST notes (see 21st Century Act) but we need to restrict access to their mental health notes. Although, we can create a new chart for MH and not give them portal access, this DOES NOT work because the client cannot be seen for telehealth which is a majority of the appointments due to Covid-19. People who are unable to access their personal health information for clinic visit dates on or after April 5, 2021, and who are not being provided with this information “without delay” from their clinicians or health systems, are able to submit a report of “information blocking” through the U.S. Department Health & Human Services website. https://www.opennotes.org/onc-federal-rule/

In order to provide clients their medical information in a compliant way, we need psychotherapy notes and evaluations limited. It is important for families to have access to their SLP documents without them being able to access mental health documents. Please fix this to help us stay compliant with 21st Century Act.

Limit portal information. We utilize the options currently available, however, we also need options to limit which disciplines documents are available. Can you please advise as to how to do that? We specifically need to make sure mental health documentation is not available for any client who also has services from other disciplines.
