Mark an appointment as patient canceled or clinic canceled

Let me mark an appointment as "patient canceled" vs "clinic canceled" so I can differentiate between those that should count toward the patient and those that should not.

    When canceling an appointment, you'll now indicate whether the appointment was canceled by the patient or the clinic! You can use the new "Clinic Canceled" status when you don't want it to count toward the patient.     Add an option for "late cancellation" to the way that appts are marked. It is nice to be able to track three features of missed appts: Late cancellations (communication from the patient but done in under 24 hours), no-shows which suggest no communication from the patient and cancellations that comply with the attendance policy. This is helpful in gathering information on the business. If we find that even timely cancellations are impacting our business, then we can make some change to our attendance policy.

    It would be nice if there was an OT cancellation so it doesn't go against the client when an OT is sick, on vacation, etc. Thanks!

    need a rescheduled choice - you have cancelled, no show and checked in but there needs to be a way to monitor those who need to reschedule

    Yes please!!! So many good comments down there and so many more "wishlist" items related... - Would like Unavailable time to look unavailable - Would like "hold for client" status that does NOT send text alerts for appointments that are being held while we wait for insurance auth - Would like to distinguish between late cancel (i.e. charge a fee) and cancelled - Would like to distinguish between rescheduled and completely cancelled and know how often a given client does each.. Appointments that are made up should not necessarily ding us in the attendance stats ... etc , etc,... :-) Thank you!

    Create multiple types of cancellations -- for example, when a patient cancels, have an option that we can mark as "patient cancel". From time to time we have therapists that are out sick so an option at that time would be "therapist cancel". All options will be marked cancellation, however this would help keep stats/insights accurate and differentiate which visits are truly cancellations from the patient. Right now we are trying to track cancellations, however all the complied cancellations are not true cancellation accounts secondary to there being different reasons for that cancellation. When we do have to cancel patients on our end, we don't necessarily want to delete them from the schedule, but rather cancel them so they don't get completely removed from the schedule. Some type of differentiation of cancellation type would help keep stats and insights more accurate.

    Is there a way to differentiate between clinician cancels and patient cancels? Right now, we are typing a note for each to differentiate. If we had CCx vs PtCx, it would be easier to track patient attendance and hold them accountable to our attendance policy.

    We work hard to encourage attendance and would love a separate button for 'therapist cancelled' ...that would save lots of time printing out and reading and counting in order to have an accurate number for attendance. We currently hit 'no show' or 'cancel' and then write a note indicating who cancelled, us or the patient.

    Give option to select in list of appointments if an appointment was canceled by the therapist or by the client.

    Distinguish in past appointments if they were cancelled due to patient cancellation or therapist cancellation.

    I wish there was a way to indicate the difference between the clinic cancelling vrs client cancelling appointments. The stats these generate are pretty useless to me since I cannot determine if it is a staff issue or a client issue from the data it is presenting.

    There should be a way to mark patients attendance so that providers can see more accurate details. Such as holidays, patient cancel, and if the therapist cancels. By having all cancels lumped together it doesn't give an accurate view of a patient's attendance. Thank you.

    Have an option on the schedule of "therapist cancelled" so we have a cancelled option that will not count against the attendance percentage. As of now, we have to take off any therapist cancelled appt off the calendar so it won't count against their attendance (we have a strict cancellation policy). This is very confusing when seeing holes in the calendar and trying to schedule reoccuring new patients.

    Add Late Cancel as a check in option. We bill for check-ins that are less than 24 hour notice.

    Regarding appointments. It is great to have the canceled and no show options for tracking. It would appear to be more accurate for real attendance if we had a "Rescheduled" that would not count against the canceled percentages. I know we could just delete the originally scheduled appointment but it is helpful to see how often someone needs to change that appointment. Thanks.

    Would like the ability to list an appointment as a "Hold" for when patient insurance information is being verified. Would be easier to know if they can schedule over it.
