Charge for late cancellations/no show from the schedule
If a caregiver/patient calls to cancel an appointment and it's outside of our cancellation window, allow me to apply a charge directly from the appointment so I don't have to navigate to the patient's billing account.
There needs to be a way to add certain billing codes such as a "No Show Fee" to a billing account without writing a note. We don't want our therapists writing a daily note for "No Shows" because we don't want to deduct a visit from their authorization.
However if we add it from the +Charge each we would need to type out the description and total each time which isn't the most lean process either.
An even better process would be for a pop up when we mark an appointment as a "no show" that asks if you want to charge the pre-determined no show fee. We don't want it to be blanket applied to every No Show though because we can't bill Medicaid patients for a no show.
It would be nice to be able to attach a no show fee to a missed visit. Our thought is for the $ sign to be available even if the visit is cancelled or no showed. That way it attaches to the visit.
