Allow me to set-up an alert that will notify me when a patient reaches a certain age. In our state when a patient turns three, we have to update the payer because they are no longer eligible for early intervention.
We have a similar program in Georgia called Babies Can't Wait and I created an alert by using the insurance expriation date as their 3rd birthday. The alert will show up in the verification section on the schedule tab.
In the state of South Carolina we have a program called Babynet. It is from birth to 3 years of age for kids who qualify. The program helps pay for services in addition to the insurance that a child may already have in place. If the child does not have insurance, then Babynet covers the entire cost. We need a way to make alerts for kids that are coming up on their 3rd birthday. This is important because we have to change the insurance payer in Fusion, or we have to add another one, or make sure they have some type of insurance in place. Is there anyway to create an alert for this? Everyone in the state of SC is involved with Babynet.
