We have also been undergoing a HIPAA audit at our clinic and need to be able to track who is accessing patient files and when. Having this done through Fusion, as it is tracked through other EMR systems, would greatly help with compliance.
We would love an activity log, that you could search by patient that would show who scheduled appointments, who made edits to appointments, who added files to chart or who added a case note etc. This would be so helpful if there is a question if a session was possibly cancelled by accident or if we needed to ask a question specifically to the user who scheduled the appointment. If we could acess this in settings or if each individual chart had an activity log.
This is critically important to our clinic as well. This needs to be on a separate tab that the admins can control who has access to this feature. There have been several times when I have had to email Fusion to see who has deleted or changed something and it takes too long to get a response especially if it occurs after Fusion hours, but some of these issues have needed to be addressed immediately.
The ability to audit user activity to gain insight would greatly assist with training with regard to productivity. With our previous EMR, I could report on user activity to get a feel for how long they are using the platform, and for therapists, how much time is spent documenting notes, evals, etc. For Billing, I could summarize the status changes to gain insight on how they are doing in each status area, etc. I see that these are being logged because you see the date/time user data on individual document statuses. For Billing, it is being logged because there is a history tab for each individual claim that shows status changes by date/time and the user. However, in both instances, this is not very useful on a user basis because you cannot look at, for example, a history range of claim logs just for a single user. I could even see how this would be important for training scheduling staff.
I think it would be a great idea for each log in tells you who made each appointment or changes on the schedule. When more than one person is adding or moving the schedule around it gets tricky not knowing who did what.
User history. It would be great if we could see all things that has been done with patients' appointments. For example... If we schedule an appointment and we have to reschedule or switch therapists, there is a history of when it was changed and who it was changed by. We have some appointments disappearing and we have no record to try and figure out what happened.
Thank You!
Hi, one thing we could really use is a digital timeline with appointments with full details. Ex. When a patient is cancelled there is a way to see which user cancelled the appointment and at what time. This would extremely helpful since the curser is so sensitive.
Be able to have a view function on user name of who edited the appt last/created the appt or cancelled the appt. We are a growing company and it is very difficult to ask all of our 50 employees who spoke/changed an appointment.
Can fusion have the option to post on the appointment date/time/user when scheduling an appointment. It would save a lot of questions when wondering who and when an appointment was scheduled.
It is imperative to be able to see what each account is doing . For example, who made a specific appointment on the schedule, or cancelled an appointment. As a supervisor, this is extremely helpful for performance evaluations.
Add a tracking feature that shows which user schedules an appointment. There are many times that we need to know this information and it is not available.
A report that tracks changes. Changes are being made in accounts and it would be nice to know when demographic information is changed and by whom. Also, tracking which user runs a transaction in case any questions come up.
