We would like a way for our admins and therapists to access the patient link for a teletherapy session directly.
While Fusion teletherapy works beautifully when a patient has the link, we have encountered many issues with patients not receiving it due to the automated nature of the email/text delivery process. If a patient calls at the last minute and needs to switch to telehealth, it may be after the delivery time for the link so they won't see it.
In these cases especially, it's important for somebody from our clinic to be able to get the correct link and send it to the patient directly to ensure the session can begin on schedule. When it doesn't happen, we're left with no choice but to divert the patient to Zoom or some other alternative option and it leads to a poor clinic experience.
I was just made aware that it's available to the patient via the patient portal, but some internal means of access would be very beneficial to us.
Additionally, when we need to test and demo these sessions internally it will dramatically simplify the process.
Thank you!
We love that Fusion has telehealth built in now! What would make it even better is if the links were sent out the day of and we could get a way to send a back up link. We have had a lot of families lose the link for multiple reasons then we miss sessions because we cannot resend a link. Thank you!
It would be helpful to have a way to resend/push through an additional notification/ link to a teletherapy session (potentially with a different e-mail address) at/before the appointment time
We are getting a lot of feedback from our recurring telehealth patients that they are not getting the link each week to join their appointments or that they can't find it. The therapist should be able to click on a button when they are logged into the telehealth session to re-sends the link to join the session.
There needs to be another option to send a parent another email link to a telehealth appointment from the appointment. We have issues with parents not being able to find the email so if we could send another one or even invite them directly from the teletherapy platform that would be helpful.
Fusion: Please remember many families are having caregivers access teletherapy from childcare--we cannot/should not give portal access to these caregivers to access teletherapy as there is financial and medical information they do not need access to. The "e-helper" may change from session to session to sending the link becomes a problem.
